Welcome! I’m glad you’re here. I am a queer and trans/non-binary therapist, parent, avid reader, cat parent, and lifelong learner. As a compassionate, curious, and authentic therapist, my mission is to support queer and trans folks in stepping out of shame and self-doubt to foster greater self-trust, authenticity, and connection.
Many of us learned in various ways to disconnect from our bodies and emotions, and may have learned that relationships are not safe. Using an attachment-focused, relational approach, I create a safe place for you to bring your whole self to therapy and reconnect with resilience, joy, pleasure, and presence.
I specialize in supporting the following people:
LGBTQ+ individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, shame, oppression, and disconnection to reconnect with resilience, joy, pleasure, and presence.
People disconnected from themselves due to trauma and oppression to build an empowered and embodied sense of self.
Queer parents and parents of LGBTQ+ kids to address unique challenges, interrupt intergenerational trauma, and cultivate self-understanding and intention in the parenting journey.
I utilize a strengths-based, body-centered, trauma-informed, intersectional, and liberation-focused approach to create a safe space for you to connect with your body and emotions. My goal is to help you break free from disempowering patterns and step more fully into your authenticity, aligning your actions with your core values.
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your feelings, experiences, and narratives. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship, focusing on helping you build self-trust, self-compassion, self-agency, and deeper connections with yourself and others. Together, we’ll work towards embodiment and responsiveness in the present moment, empowering you to navigate life with intention and authenticity.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado. Because I strongly advocate for your wholeness–body, mind, spirit and social context–I integrate numerous therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and narrative therapy. My work is grounded in systems theory (situating our personal experiences and stories within larger familial, social, and cultural contexts and stories) and queer theory (rooted in challenging normative assumptions and unhinging binaries).
