I am committed to helping people face the inevitable losses and challenges of life with presence, curiosity, and compassion. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I take a structural lens: Harmful systems are at the root of much suffering–and there is healing in envisioning and building alternatives. People who are feeling stuck, grieving, struggling with the weight of our socio-political crises, perfectionists, queer + trans people coming out later-in-life, codependents, highly sensitive folk: I’d love to help you slow down, connect with yourself, and forge a healthy, self-loving path forward.
I have strengths in working with LGBTQIA+ people on identity exploration and politicized grief. I also have specialized experience working with caregivers of people with dementia, including rare forms such as Primary Progressive Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia. I was co-chair of the Chicagoland LGBTQ+ Aging Network in 2024.
Finding the best fit for you is an essential part of your therapeutic journey. I’d love to set up a free 15-minute consultation to see how we might work together. If I’m not a match – what a great opportunity to practice assertive communication! 😉 I can help you with that, and with finding a better fit for your needs.
