In my first few years in the field I have had the opportunity to learn and grow in my knowledge of myself and how to best support queer clients. I am a member of SAIGE, the American Counseling Association’s subgroup devoted to expanding knowledge of this population. I also have sought out trainings and independent reading regarding queerness to bolster my own knowledge of the community. I identify as queer and use she/they pronouns. I hope to provide a space for queer or questioning folks to explore their identity without judgment.
