I am currently accepting new clients ready for change! For folks who identify as LGBTQIA+ and/or those with sexual health concerns, finding support can feel particularly challenging. I specialize in navigating issues such as sexual orientation, gender identity, intimate relationships, stress, anxiety, and life transitions. Using an intersectional feminist approach, we’ll focus on strengths to make small, measurable goals for incremental change. Clients willing to read, journal, or listen to podcasts to supplement sessions are also likely to be a good fit. Email is the best way to reach me to get started!
Before becoming a therapist I was a full time sexual health educator at UGA for ten years. Most of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+ or allies. I also have a large number of couples as clients with some practicing BDSM, kink, polyamory, and consensual non-monogamy. My primary focus in therapy is to establish a trusting, genuine relationship with my clients.
I recognize the intersectionality of marginalized identities within our society and the resulting impact on our emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. You deserve to be seen and heard. Reaching out and deciding to be fully authentic in therapy takes courage, and I am excited to support you through the next chapter of your journey. I’m an email away!
Most of my clients fall under the queer umbrella or are allies. I often help navigate issues around gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual relationships, and intimacy. By establishing trust, together we will set small, realistic goals and celebrate progress. I also enjoy using bibliotherapy and narrative therapy that will supplement talk therapy.
All fees are self-pay or “out of pocket.” I use the app Reimbursify to assist you in filing out of network reimbursement claims.
