Kelly Washburn graduated from the Yale University School of Nursing with a dual specialty in Adult and Gerontological Primary Care. Kelly currently works in primary care with specialties in transgender/gender non-conforming hormone therapy and diabetes management for those with type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes. Kelly is a member of the queer community and has worked with hundreds of trans* individuals aged 17-70. In addition to direct patient care, Kelly has a passion for educating clinicians and students in the art of trans healthcare and diabetes management in primary care settings.
