As a gay-identified therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, I offer LGBTQ+ affirming therapy for individuals and couples from a place of deep understanding, respect, and cultural humility. My private practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches and a strong commitment to providing inclusive, compassionate care for people across the spectrum of sexual orientation, gender identity, and relationship structure.
I specialize in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, helping partners improve communication, deepen emotional connection, and manage conflict more effectively. I work with LGBTQ+ couples navigating a wide range of challenges—including life transitions, parenting, recovery from betrayal, and reconnection in long-term relationships. My approach is affirming of all relationship structures, including consensual non-monogamy and kink-informed partnerships.
For individual therapy, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients working through anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, identity exploration, and trauma. Many of my clients are professionals—including physicians and attorneys—seeking help with boundary-setting, burnout, and relationship stress.
I’ve completed extensive LGBTQ+ clinical training through professional workshops, continuing education (CEUs), and peer consultation. I stay active in LGBTQ+ clinical networks and am committed to ongoing education related to anti-oppressive practice, gender diversity, and trauma-informed care.
My practice is sex-positive, trans-affirming, and built on the belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality, culturally responsive mental health support.
