Virtual and in-person therapy in Denver for LGBTQ+ young adults and adolescents (ages 12+). I offer solution-focused talk therapy, EMDR, and art therapy. I have over a decade of experience and specialize in working with clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression, struggling in interpersonal relationships, and want to begin the process of overcoming unresolved trauma.
I identity as a queer cisgender woman and my pronouns are she/her. I grew up in a conservative area of the country and when I came out in high school in the early 2000s, I did not have any role models who were LGBTQ+. My own journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance helped me develop an affinity for young people navigating the joys and challenges of developing an LGBTQ+ identity. I am a cisgender ally of the trans and non-binary communities. I also enjoy working with clients who engage in consensual non-monogamy in their intimate relationships. Whether it’s your first time in a therapist’s office or you’ve been therapy for years, you are welcome here.
I accept insurance and am in-network with Kaiser Permanente, Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford, and Oscar. I also offer a free 15-min consultation which can be booked directly through my website: www.kerryjessup.com
