I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (TX License #55680) with experience in private practice, research, academic & community-based mental health care settings. I served as a Clinical Director in a local group practice prior to opening my own practice. I have worked as a research specialist at UT Health San Antonio Department of Psychiatry and as an adjunct instructor in the UTSA MSW program. My community-based work includes developing innovative programs for integrated healthcare & mental healthcare for people experiencing houselessness, First Episode Psychosis, peer support services in LMHA clinics and re-integration from long term residence at State Hospitals into community housing. I am a former board member and ongoing volunteer with Fiesta Youth (serving LGBTQIA+ youth) and longtime volunteer/clinical consultant with The Center-Pride Center San Antonio. In my collaboration with The Center-Pride Center San Antonio I have been afforded the opportunity to complete Safe Zone Training, ongoing training/consultation on ethical care for LGBTQIA+ outpatient psychotherapy including gender affirming care best practices and complete the Yale University CBT for LGBTQIA+ course.
