As a Licensed Social Worker, I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work (2020) and a Master’s degree in Social Work (2021) from Rutgers University. I applied my studies to clinical internships, which took place at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen in New Brunswick, and Perth Amboy. My direct work focused on providing counseling services to parents and their children. Services provided included case management, individual therapy, family counseling, marital therapy, and psychoeducation.
In addition, my experience lies in working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger management, parenting education, children’s behavioral issues, and relaxation/mindfulness. I am also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I pride myself on consistently attending new trainings and webinars to stay educated and informed. I work with everyone from all walks of life. I am an LGBQIA+ and Trans Affirming therapist.
I believe therapy is not a one size fits all approach. Instead, clinicians need to meet each individual where they are and tailor their approach to meet the unique needs of everyone. As a result, there is not one modality I prefer to use with my patients. Rather, I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based approach, and other evidence-based practices to best treat each individual.
To help meet the needs of the community, we offer services with our provisionally licensed associate therapist at a reduced rate. Associate therapists are able to accept some insurances and are under the supervision of Jennifer Driscoll. Provisionally licensed therapists are licensed in New Jersey and have met all education requirements to practice under the supervision of a certified clinical supervisor.
Individual/Family 45 minute session with provisionally licensed associate therapist $60
