As a self-identified QTPOC who now has privilege that comes with being a physician, I understand deeply how existing structural and systemic frameworks significantly impact access to and quality of health care, especially for historically and presently marginalized communities. With that understanding and as a family medicine trained primary care provider, my approach to delivery of care is centered on building relationships, meeting folks at the level of their specific needs, and working with them to provide the care that they deserve. That care includes organ- and activity -specific preventive health care and screenings, reproductive and contraceptive care inclusive of placement and removal of longer acting IUDs and subdermal implants, affirming care inclusive of hormone therapy and management and subdermal testopel insertion, and addiction medicine in the setting of and with a focus on primary care. I strive to be a primary care provider for everyBODY, centering those from marginalized communities in my work as a provider-educator-advocate.
