I believe we all deserve to be who we truly are, and sometimes we need help to harness the bravery to live authentically. I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ and poly communities. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I understand that having an identity that differs from the societal norm can make seeking treatment feel especially daunting. My clients enjoy a truly non-judgmental space to cultivate the strength to become a prouder version of their authentic selves. Many of my clients describe sessions with me as relaxed and not overly clinical, while still being extremely effective.
The issues I am most experienced in treating include anxiety, depression, OCD, intrusive thoughts, gender dysphoria, low self-esteem, body image issues, trauma, PTSD, and relationship boundary issues. I also have experience treating the other issues listed on this page. I primarily use well-researched Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness therapies.
