As a queer Latinx Muslim woman, I am dedicated to my communities and providing safe space for folks that identify in the QTPOC and LGBTQIA + family. I immerse myself into the study of the human body and make sure that my practice and therapy techniques constantly improve to better serve our community. I have volunteered my skills as a physical therapist internationally in countries such as Mexico and India and I am currently partaking in The Movement Network (formerly known as PT4Justice) https://www.themovementnetwork.org/ which provides free support and treatment to injured protestors. I am an avid member of a diversity, equity, and inclusion focus group (DEI) to promote real change at increasing accessibility and opportunities for minorities and LGBTQIA + in the profession of physical therapy and volunteer my services as a mentor at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center (https://lgbtbrooklyn.org/) . My treatment focus is a whole-body approach with understanding the intricacies of our mind, body and spirit. I specialize in the orthopedic setting – muscles, bones, joints, tendons, and ligaments as well as post-surgery rehabilitation and sports specific training.
