We are stronger because we have LGTBQ+ folks in our world.  I want to provide my LGBTQ+ patients with a welcoming and safe environment where they feel free to be themselves.  A successful provider-patient relationship is collaborative. I strive to make my patients to feel respected and cared-for so they feel empowered to make the best healthcare choices for themselves.  As a JourniRx pharmacist, I am available via the Journi app, which increases access to care from home or any other safe space.

Additionally, Journi Care Guides take the time to search for queer-positive and gender-affirming providers. They also go a step further to call providers’ offices to ask directly, “Is your office LGBTQ+ friendly?” before recommending them to a user or scheduling an appointment. This not only reduces the number of discriminatory experiences for Journi app users, but it also increases access to providers who are queer-positive but haven’t listed themselves on LGBTQ+ online directories.

LGBTQ+ Centered Classes:  Therapeutic Research Center Healthcare’s  2-hour continuing education coarse,  “Cultural Competence: LBGTQ Patients.” Currently enrolled in Outcare’s Certification Program.
