Lisa (she/her) earned her MS in Psychology from Purdue University, and completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with specializations in Addictions, Neuroscience, and Women’s Studies from Indiana University. Lisa approaches therapy with warm and grounded energy, and a collaborative style. She offers experience and expertise in treating mood disorders, PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, anxiety, Neurodivergence Management, adjustment disorders and navigating life transitions. Lisa is adept in evidence-based therapies like CBT, REBT, MI, and DBT, specifically tailoring those methods to the individual, empowering clients to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Lisa has particular interest in serving LGBTQ+ communities and marginalized (POC, LGBTQ+, women) service members. As a member of the community herself, and with 22+ years of LGBTQ+ mentoring, Lisa fosters a safe space for healing from unique struggles faced by our community. As your therapist, Lisa guides, supports, and motivates you to make positive changes, unlocking your full potential.
When not in session, you can find Lisa reading, traveling, hiking, or practicing mindfulness through organic gardening with her wife and their two cats on their homestead.
