Hi! We do not know each other yet, but I am glad that you are here. As a queer person, I believe it is a human right to feel as though you can authentically be yourself; however, I understand that it is not always an easy feat. Many of us live in societies where we do not feel safe to be unapologetically Out, and we certainly feel the strain that comes with having to hide these parts of ourselves. We need an outlet, because we cannot — and we should not have to — hide ourselves away forever.
I welcome you to come as you are. Wherever you may be on your journey, I will meet you there. You have complete control over how fast we move and what goals we choose to work toward. I want to highlight that you have a voice, a story, a power that can be shared in a space that genuinely accepts you and all of your parts.
From personal experience, I know it can be intimidating to reach out to a therapist. Believe it or not, you have already taken the first step. I encourage you to take the next by sending me an email or giving me a call. We can set up a consultation to see how I can help.
