It’s true that we can’t always control what happens to us, but we do have the power to shape how we perceive and respond to those events, especially with a solid therapeutic relationship. Adverse childhood and adult experiences, along with the impacts of systemic discrimination such as racism, sexism, homophobia, bullying, transphobia, ableism, and xenophobia, make it difficult to establish a sense of empowerment and authenticity in navigating our lives. My work emphasizes my passion to the commitment of creating safe and affirming spaces for healing for you and/or your loved ones to feel comfortable talking about the uncomfortable.
