I am a queer immigrant from Central Europe with both personal and professional experience navigating the complexities of identity, belonging, and systemic marginalization. The first part of my clinical career was dedicated to serving the LGBTQ+ community across a range of settings—from a rural mental health clinic in Tennessee to an urban trauma center in Nashville. I have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals around issues of minority stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma, identity, and dissociation, with a specialization in working with survivors of sexual abuse, religious trauma, and conversion therapy.
I am a Certified EMDR therapist with advanced training, supervision, and continuing education in trauma therapy, including LGBTQ+ specific trauma-informed care. My work is grounded in cultural humility and a commitment to ongoing learning. I co-founded and served as managing director of a therapist-led LGBTQ+ nonprofit in Tennessee that aimed to expand access to affirming mental health care. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work, where my research focuses on health equity, specifically the mental and sexual health experiences of LGBTQ+ immigrants.
