I have spent the last 6 years cultivating my own therapy practice, and now I am excited to welcome new clinicians who share similar insights, values, and beliefs. We provide therapy to individuals, groups, couples, and families with various presenting concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, self-esteem, sex and relationships, and changes through the lifespan. We focus on honoring your individual identity while addressing systemic issues that might be impacting your symptoms or impacting your relational health. Our main goal is to help you increase self-awareness and facilitate change in your day-to-day relationships, allowing for a more congruent way of life. We hope to create a non-judgmental, warm, and safe environment during the therapeutic process for you to explore your needs on how to grow and change.
I received my degree from Seton Hill University in 2014, and I have been working in the mental health field in Western PA since then. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Most of my work has been with the LGBTQ community in Pittsburgh, and a passion of mine is providing advocacy for and awareness to the needs of this marginalized group of individuals. My dissertation focused on the experience of gay couples and commitment in their relationships, and I have provided multiple trainings on couples therapy specific to the LGBTQ+ community.
