Hi, I’m Pa’Shence Young (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in supporting people through life transitions, burnout, identity exploration, and relationship shifts—with a special focus on holding space for those in the LGBTQ+ community.
As a queer-identifying clinician in a same-gender relationship, I deeply understand the importance of being seen, heard, and supported in therapy. My goal is to offer a space where clients can show up as their full selves. No code-switching, no shrinking, no explaining, just room to breathe, explore, and grow. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and affirming lens that honors the many layers of identity we each carry.
My work is grounded in both professional experience and lived perspective. I’ve completed training in LGBTQ+ affirmative care, gender-affirming therapy, and trauma-responsive practice, and I continue to seek out education and consultation that helps me show up better for the people I serve. I also consult with organizations that want to create more emotionally healthy, inclusive spaces for their teams and clients.
Whether you’re coming to therapy for the first time, returning after a break, or just looking for someone who really gets it, I’m here. I believe you deserve care that’s compassionate, collaborative, and truly affirming of who you are.
