I am a Clinical Psychologist by training, and I pride myself in being genuine in my care for the clients I work with. I value working within a framework of multicultural awareness, and feel strongly that individuals should be afforded the courtesy to understand the context of their background and world view. I am relationship focused, and incorporate a variety of empirically supported approaches in working with the difficulties that occur in people’s lives. I have training in individual, relationship-based, and sex therapy approaches and treat a wide variety of clinical concerns. I specialize in treating sexual health concerns with a particular focus on couples’ issues in both monogamous and non-monogamous relationships , including sexual dysfunction in men and women, paraphilia, sexual abuse and trauma, sexual fetish, sexually compulsive behaviors across the lifespan, gender identity exploration, anxiety related sexual dysfunction, and intimacy enhancement. I am LGBTQIA+ informed and competent therapist and work with individuals from many cultural backgrounds.
It’s been a while since we last spoke but I’ll be getting back to taking care of me again very soon. Dr. Denton is the most welcoming warm person, I feel so grateful to have found a therapist with such a beautiful intelligent mind. Every time we spoke he was very collected and grounding which is great bc you know when you start therapy you’re kind of all over the place and want to word vomit all the painful things that brought you here at once, but he does such a good job at listening and helping you piece by piece put things into perspectives that you may not have seen. He made me feel safe, seen, heard and valued as a human being. I still utilize his knowledge to this day. Forever grateful to have found someone so genuine and accepting.
