I’m a cisgender woman from Northern California, and I’ve been a feminist and LGBTQ+ ally since I was a teen. Throughout college at UC Berkeley I was an officer for NOW (National Organization for Women) and interned at the Gender Equity Resource Center on campus. In residency I did a healthcare disparities specialty track and presented a workshop to medical providers on providing gender-affirming mental health care. Many of my dearest loved ones are queer, trans, and nonbinary, and so are many of my current and past patients. I do my very best to stay up to date.
