Wherever you are in life’s journey, when you need support you deserve a therapist who takes the time to understand you. Whether you are experiencing stress related to work, challenges in relationships, or struggling with any other area of your life you would like to change, you deserve a space to receive care and support that is specific to you, from someone who cares about you and prioritizes your needs.
I have over a decade of clinical experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, chronic health conditions, relationship issues, and many other challenges that impact mental health. My therapeutic approach starts with getting to know you and understanding your history, relationships, and life experiences so we can work together to achieve your goals. We will assess where you are now and make a plan together to get to where you want to be. I work with evidence-based practices grounded in psychodynamic theory, neurobiology, and an eclectic mix of interventions that can be tailored to meet your unique needs.
I am especially passionate about helping people in the LGBTQ community, and I bring to my work a decade of experience in community-based mental health care focusing on the LGBTQ community and people living with HIV. As a member of the LGBTQ community myself, I understand the importance of having a therapist who can care for you with competence and respect, positivity toward sex and non-monogamy, and without judgment. No matter who you are and how you identify, I believe it’s important to get to know you as an individual and honor your unique experience, however it might be similar to or different from others.
If you’re ready to move in a new direction and think I could help you in that process, please reach out for a consultation.
