Do you struggle with self-critical thoughts, feelings, and beliefs? No matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to stop beating yourself up and feeling like you’re just not good enough. Maybe you’re queer, a person of color, and/or neurodivergent and find that these identities cause other people to treat you differently, only furthering your self-doubt. Perhaps you’re beginning to realize how much your beliefs about yourself are holding you back and preventing you from embracing your authentic self. If you’re ready to escape from a shame spiral, you’ve come to the right place.
I work with motivated and insightful teens and adults to liberate themselves from self-hatred. I provide an affirming, compassionate, and honest therapeutic space in which you are free to explore and understand where these beliefs stem from. Together, we’ll get to the root cause of your pain and help you develop a kinder and gentler way to know yourself.
My therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive, identity-affirming, and liberation-centered. I incorporate aspects of acceptance and commitment therapy, relational cultural therapy, and attachment theory to help you understand and face your pain with courage and compassion. As a young queer person of color, I know what it’s like to be unsure of whether aspects of my identity will be accepted in new spaces. Rest assured, every aspect of what makes you who you are is invited when we share space together.
If you’re ready to release the burden of the pain you’ve been carrying, I would be honored to lighten your load and walk alongside you in the path towards healing.
