Sara’s clinical work draws from client-centered therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion focused therapy (EFT) and individually-tailored solution-focused therapy. Her priority is building trust and deep understanding within the therapeutic relationship while empowering clients to navigate challenges in ways that support their growth, well-being, and long-term resilience. Sara is a therapist who is both gentle and direct. She helps clients understand why we’re not always honest with ourselves, and how this interferes with living our lives with the vibrancy we desire.

I help clients find hope in their own lives so that they are able to grow into their best selves – whoever that is. I think this quote from Carl Rogers sums up my view the best: “People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” My goal is to help you unfold into the person you are.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
