I am a licensed master social worker in the state of Georgia providing outpatient mental health therapy for adult individuals and for relationships. I identify as both nonbinary and trans as well both queer and a lesbian. It is my absolute honor and privilege to explicitly and proudly provide therapy services to queer individuals (and I also provide therapy for folks in the kink community and those in ethically nonmonogamous relationships!) Approximately 95% of my clients identify as queer, and of that 95% more than half of them also identify as trans. One of my favorite parts of my job is walking with my clients as they explore their gender identities. It is such an honor to me to sit with my clients as they go through their transitions. I have written dozens of letters to help clients attain HRT and various gender-affirming surgeries and partnered with my clients while they recover from procedures, process their coming out to their families and friends, and as they process the emotional highs and lows of transitioning. I also particularly love working with queer clients who received a later in life diagnosis of ADHD or autism and partnering with them to process the various intersections that can come from being both queer and neurodivergent!
