As Licensed Professional Counselor I use a no-nonsense, down-to-earth approach when working with my patients. You and I will meet in a comfortable, casual setting where we will tailor a treatment program which will address your specific needs using the proven treatment method of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
CBT concentrates on finding, understanding, and then changing certain patterns of thinking and/or behavior.
You will be actively involved in your healing process and learn skills that will be useful across several areas of your life. CBT typically involves some “homework” which will be useful in your therapy sessions. Patients find this work highly rewarding as they begin to see improvement quickly and clearly.
