I believe it is so important to be curious, compassionate, and present. When you find yourself looking for assistance, you know what that better future would look like, and in collaboration we can work on exploring how to get there. You are the expert of your life, and my duty is to provide a safe space to explore. Sometimes it can be harder to explore and be present in an oppressive social system like the one we are surrounded in, especially for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. I have experience working with non-monogamy, couples therapy, communication improvement, and family therapy.
My practice is trauma informed with a strong intersectional feminist and systemic lens. I have Gottman Level 1 Certification for couples work along with Brainspotting training. I am a Master’s level clinical trainee working towards licensure. I am particularly interested in reconnecting with the body, Internal Family System works, and generational trauma.
Doing the work of processing our life experiences and how they impact us to this day is really hard, but with support the weight of those experiences can get lighter. When we hear ourselves and our loved ones better and have a deeper understanding of the paths that have led to this moment, then we can develop new ones in time.
