I am a compassionate, friendly, and caring provider who specializes in working with sexual, queer, and gender diverse communities. In our work together, I will take an intersectional approach to mental health work and services that centers you as the client. In our work, I want to honor your various social locations and identities and the histories and systems in which they are embedded. As you start your change process, I am excited to work with you as you move forward with what you want. I have committed to keeping up with evidence-based practice and constantly growing in multicultural humility to ensure that you can feel supported and valued and also can achieve the needed growth to be your best self. You can discover information about my approach to our work together on my website. I encourage you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if you think I can be of help and support you.
I am a Licensed Psychologist (PSY25544) and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC600) in California. I have received extensive training in working with queer people and areas of sexuality and sex-positivity. I maintain a private practice in West Los Angeles. In connection to my mental health work, I teach in the Marriage and Family therapy program at the University of Southern California (USC) in the areas of human sexuality. In addition to celebrating your sexual orientation and gender identity, I am also affirming of kink, poly, and sex work identities that you may also bring into our space. I am a current member of WPATH (the World Professional Association for Transgender Health), and am a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA).
In our work together, I’ll draw from decades of experience serving our communities and their mental health, from my experiences being a human rights advocate to several volunteer, advocacy, and professional organization service roles in which I serve.
