As a clinical psychogist and previously as a licensed counselor, I have worked with a wide range of LGBTQ+ individuals ranging across the lifespan. I have made LGBTQ+ affirming therapy a priority in my continuing education as well as through consultation and additional supervision with psychologists and related professionals. The majority of my services have been individual psychotherapy, although I have also co-faciliated LGBTQ+ process groups on college campuses and collabrated with students involved in LGBTQ+ advocacy efforts during my time in higher education. I greatly value subjectivity in the therapy process as well as openness and discussion around intersecting idenitities as well as the role of stuctural and system issues, with attention to how these impact my clients and the overall process of seeking mental healtcare. As past president of the Greater Pittsburgh Psychological Associaiton, I worked to include additional CEU opportunities for professions on LGBTQ+ topics and reach out to support referrals for LGBTQ+ affirming services. In addition to my professional role, I likewise strive in my personal life to further advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and support the effots of local, region, and national organizations, such as the APA, in advocating and support research oriented toward further advacement of LGBTQ+ care.
