Tiffany, ASW126902, is a demisexual, Cambodian-Chinese (Teochew) individual who strives to assist people in defining and understanding their stories on their journey in healing. They’re determined to aid others with finding the tools needed to build a better tomorrow, whatever that looks like for clients.
Her approach to therapy is eclectic, trauma-informed, and person-focused, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities that fit best based on people’s needs. Tiffany utilizes modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), somatic practices and mindfulness. She aim to support clients in exploring their situations, increasing their agency, and strengthening their own preferred self through a culturally sensitive and anti-oppression lens. Everyone has the knowledge and expertise needed to live their own lives authentically – sometimes, it just takes a bit of collaboration.
They bring experience working with underserved populations at various stages of life such as domestic violence survivors, the LGBTQIA+ community, “non-traditional” family/relationship units, and undocumented families. Within the past decade, she has promoted awareness and advocacy of mental health issues in culturally diverse and intersectional communities as well as provided resources to empower individuals.
Tiffany believes in walking alongside clients with compassion and curiosity, helping them reconnect with themselves and reclaim their stories. They want to bring warmth, authenticity, and hope in people’s journeys as well as creating a space where all are welcome without judgment.
Outside of work, she enjoy reading, painting, and dancing.
Tiffany is an registered Associate Clinical Social Worker working under a licensed clinical supervisor and is dedicated to providing support and resources so that people may find their piece of peace.
