My name is Toni, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I have always considered myself to be an ally and am so honored to be able to share in the journey of other’s life stories. Over the past several years I have actively sought culturally diverse professional trainings due to the importance of widening my understanding of how mental health impacts those with diverse backgrounds. As a clinical professional counselor, I am mandated by my state licensure board to have 40 continuing education credits and I completed 120 credits with at least a quarter of those being dedicated to cultural competence. I love learning, growing, and understanding through trainings, but more importantly, through learning from my client’s life stories. Each one of us is as unique as our fingerprint and most of us ask ourselves what type of imprint we are creating. Your life story is significant and filled with joys, sorrows, love, heartbreak, triumphs, and setbacks. You are the expert and author of your story and I view counseling as a professional editor. Counseling often brings forth positive Ripple Effects in your thoughts, relationships, goals, motivations, emotions, and behaviors. My role is to provide clinically relevant and honest feedback, unconditional support, genuine empathy, and expertise in the field of counseling. My focus is to provide a safe, confidential, and ethical environment, so you feel comfortable enough to share your story and supported enough to receive feedback. I will help you review the significant chapters of your life and encourage you as you continue to write your next. I believe with the right support, we can heal from our past, grow from our strength, embrace the things we cannot change, and experience joy and laughter along the way.
