Hey, I’m Whit. I’m so glad you found my page! I’m a queer therapist who loves working with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I enjoy helping people who are exploring aspects of their identity, facing life transitions, or pondering questions about life purpose and meaning. I have helped folks navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and big feelings. I also have experience working with ADHD and Autism. If you are looking for a safe, affirming and inclusive space- or just someone to sit with you while you scream into the void- I’d love to set up a time to chat about the possibility of working together.
I believe each individual is unique. What works for one person, might not work for the next. This is why I want to learn about who you are, what kind of person you want to become, and where you want to go. If you don’t know these things yet, that’s okay! Therapy can help you discover them. I am an eclectic therapist who uses aspects of various evidence-based approaches such as DBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, CBT, and EMDR.
