The practice of medicine and the future of health care requires us to be agile, patient-centric, innovative, tech-savvy, inclusive and disruption-proof. This will necessarily require us to revisit our drawing boards to rethink, reinvent and reimagine where we are and where we are going. We mustn’t be afraid to start from scratch and redesign what has already been created. This will require us to do the work that other people don’t want to do in order to lead the next generation of health care professionals in a pursuit of self and social awareness, inspiring them to push harder, challenge norms and empower both themselves and their patients to be agents of change in this wild and crazy world.
