Researchers at Wayne State University and the University of Rochester are testing FOCUS On Us, a new cancer support program designed for LGBTQ+ cancer patients and caregivers. The program includes 5 sessions with a trained nurse or social worker over 10 to 12 weeks.
Sessions take place virtually on Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant video platform. Patients and caregivers take part together, and each receives $90 for completing all parts of the study.
OutCare Health lists this study but does not run it. Please direct questions about eligibility, compensation, or participation to the research team.
