I am a therapist who works primarily with adults navigating trauma, identity, and the quiet pressure of being the one who “holds everything together.” Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ and have spent years adapting to environments where parts of themselves were unseen, misunderstood, or unsafe to express. My work is grounded in creating a space where you don’t have to perform, explain, or minimize your experience to be understood.
As a queer-affirming provider, I support clients across a wide range of LGBTQ+ experiences, including gender identity exploration, transition-related care, internalized stigma, relational dynamics, and the impact of chronic invalidation or minority stress. I am experienced in working with transgender and gender diverse clients, and I approach care with an understanding of both the systemic barriers and deeply personal realities that shape these experiences. I strive to provide care that is not only affirming in language, but grounded in real understanding.
My clinical work also focuses heavily on trauma (including PTSD and complex trauma), anxiety, perfectionism, and high-functioning individuals who may appear “fine” externally but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted internally. Many of my clients are used to being the strong one in their relationships, and therapy becomes a place where they can finally set that role down.
I draw from trauma-informed approaches and prioritize safety, pacing, and collaboration. This includes attention to nervous system responses, patterns of self-protection, and the ways past experiences continue to shape present-day relationships and identity. My style is relational, direct, and grounded; I aim to be a real person in the room with you, not just a neutral observer.
In addition to my clinical work, I have ongoing experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients in navigating healthcare systems, identity development, and the emotional impact of barriers to affirming care. I am committed to continuing education in trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming practices and to providing care that is responsive, ethical, and deeply respectful of each client’s lived experience.
I offer telehealth services for adults and aim to make starting therapy as accessible and low-pressure as possible, including offering initial consultations to ensure the fit feels right.
