I am a Postdoctoral Psychologist at Authentically Living Psychological Services, PLLC, providing affirming, evidence-based therapy to teens, adults, caregivers, couples, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community throughout New York. My practice is grounded in the belief that people make sense within the context of their experiences. Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the relationships, environments, and life experiences that have shaped the way they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others.
I provide an LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where clients are respected, supported, and free to explore their identities without judgment. I welcome individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, relationship structures, family systems, cultural backgrounds, and lived experiences. I recognize the impact that minority stress, discrimination, stigma, family rejection, and societal expectations can have on mental health and strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and valued.
My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic illness, caregiver burnout, identity development, self-esteem, substance use, ADHD, autism (AuDHD), relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I also have specialized experience supporting individuals navigating pregnancy and postpartum mental health, reproductive loss, PMDD, and the psychological impact of chronic medical conditions.
My therapeutic approach is relational and integrative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and attachment-informed principles. Therapy focuses on understanding recurring emotional and relational patterns, increasing psychological flexibility, and helping clients respond more intentionally to life’s challenges rather than remaining stuck in automatic ways of coping.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an adjunct psychology professor, mentor college students as they navigate professional development and career decisions, and remain actively involved in the recovery community. I am passionate about making psychology accessible, reducing stigma surrounding mental health, and helping people better understand themselves through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Whether you’re exploring your identity, navigating relationship concerns, processing grief, managing anxiety, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to provide a collaborative space where you can make sense of your experiences and create meaningful, lasting change.
