Hi, I’m Shayna (they/she)–I’m passionate about providing care within the neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2+ communities and have openings for youth and individuals of all ages, as well as folks in their support networks.
My work is deeply inspired by lived experience as an advocate, educator, queer nonbinary neurodivergent individual, and a parent of three kids navigating a uniquely neurodiverse household. This personal insight fuels my dedication to walking alongside clients on their journey to authenticity and joy.
My style is about affirming and accepting a person exactly where they’re at and helping them decide what is or is not working for them. Often times the world expects us to adapt to systems not built for the unique individuals we are, leading to a fear of always being wrong or that we need to be fixed. I’m here to offer an alternative perspective to this deficit mindset on a path to self acceptance and discovery of joy.
Additionally, I’ve been able to offer insight to families navigating complex school system dynamics. For those struggling to obtain a new diagnosis or working on a gender support plan, in the midst of 504 or IEP battles, I don’t offer legal advice but rather a calm, safe and understanding space to talk through this as a person who’s been there. You’re not alone.
