I am an out, queer, Licensed Professional Counselor offering virtual therapy sessions in Delaware, Georgia and Colorado.
I have been practicing since 1999, first as a licensed Art Psychotherapist and then as a virtual counselor since the COVID pandemic in 2020.
In 2018 I was living in Savannah Georgia and, due to community need, a local nonprofit founded an LGBTQ Center downtown. I became involved and developed a program to provide mental health services to the community through that Center. It was one of the most rewarding and affirming experiences in my professional work to date.
I continue to work virtually with people in our community, with a focus on supporting transgender folks through becoming, coming out, addressing cultural traumas and oppression, and offering letters of support to assist in obtaining any medical interventions that legally require such support.
My practice is culturally responsive with a queer and feminist lens, (all are equal, all have agency and expertise in their own lives), with a healthy dose of Eastern philosophy and practice at its core.
