As a proud LGBTQIA+ clinician who was assigned female at birth (AFAB), I bring professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I have been in practice for seven years and earned my Master of Social Work from Walden University in 2019.
I provide compassionate, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy centered on helping clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they explore gender, sexuality, identity, and self-acceptance. Whether you are questioning your identity, navigating coming out, processing relationship or family challenges, or working through anxiety, depression, and experiences of rejection, I offer a nonjudgmental space where you can show up as yourself.
I recognize how discrimination, social oppression, and pressure to hide parts of yourself can affect mental health. Together, we can explore these experiences, strengthen coping skills, develop boundaries, and build a life that reflects your values. Your experiences and goals guide our work.
I also work with parents and family members who want to better understand and support their LGBTQIA+ loved ones, whether they are children or adults. Therapy provides space to explore questions, concerns, and emotions while developing affirming communication, strengthening connection, and supporting acceptance within the family.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in your strengths. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and other therapeutic approaches to tailor care to your needs. We will explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences while developing practical tools for meaningful change.
You deserve care that honors who you are. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you can explore openly, deepen self-understanding, and move toward greater connection, confidence, and well-being.
