I’m a licensed psychotherapist providing affirming, trauma-informed care for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing happens in safety, connection, and authenticity. As a queer clinician, I bring lived experience and over a decade of work in mental health and suicide prevention, supporting clients navigating identity development, coming-out processes, relationship transitions, minority stress, and recovery from trauma.
My background includes clinical work with LGBTQ+ youth and adults across community mental health, higher education, and integrated care settings. I specialize in suicide prevention, grief and loss, and the intersections of gender, sexuality, and mental health. I am trained in evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused approaches, with additional continuing education in gender-affirming care and working with trans and nonbinary clients.
I also serve as a national trainer and consultant on suicide prevention and equity initiatives, helping organizations strengthen inclusive and culturally responsive practices. My approach integrates clinical expertise with advocacy—centering dignity, affirmation, and empowerment for every client.
