Are you constantly overthinking, putting pressure on yourself, or feeling like you should have everything figured out by now?
Maybe you replay conversations in your head, worry about disappointing people, struggle to make decisions without second-guessing yourself, or feel like you can never quite do enough. You might look like you have it all together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or exhausted on the inside. You deserve a space where you don’t have to pretend everything is fine, have all the answers, or be anyone other than yourself.
Hi, I’m Amanda, a licensed mental health counselor. I believe life can be good even when things go differently than we hoped, and that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves and taking steps toward the life we want. My goal is to help clients bridge the gap between waiting for things to get better and making changes that feel meaningful. I believe therapy should be collaborative, welcoming, and grounded in your individual needs, experiences, and goals.
I’ve worked with hundreds of clients, including children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, boundary setting, life transitions, and school, college, and work-related stress.
I strive to create an affirming, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, identity, relationships, and emotions without pressure to fit anyone else’s expectations. I welcome LGBTQIA+ individuals who may be navigating identity exploration, self-acceptance, relationships, or the challenges of feeling understood and accepted by others. Whether you’re exploring who you are, navigating changes in how you understand yourself, working through family or relationship dynamics, or simply wanting a space where you can show up authentically, you deserve support that honors who you are. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin exploring what feels right for you.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from CBT, DBT, SF-TIC, and EMDR. Together, we may challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop coping skills, explore core beliefs, and process difficult experiences in ways that align with your goals and values.
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy, and you don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on before getting started. Sometimes, you just know something doesn’t feel right. We can start there, explore what’s beneath the surface, and figure out the next steps together.
You are the expert on your own life. Therapy offers a space to better understand yourself, build confidence, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change. Whatever brings you here, you deserve to feel seen, supported, and understood. You don’t have to navigate it all by yourself.
