The daughter of Mexican immigrants and a Modesto native, Ana has spent her life navigating the written and unwritten rules of the social world. She later studied these rules in her undergraduate studies in anthropology and sociology. Her passions include reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and an unironic love for public transportation. Ana received her certifications as a Peer Support Specialist, Community Health Worker, HIV and HCV Test counselor, and a Sexual Health Educator.
