Hello, families! I’m Amanda, an IBCLC providing clinic and home based lactation care for folks in the KC Metro and telehealth care to the metro and surrounding areas. Queer families deserve healthcare that celebrates queer love and integrates your unique healthcare needs into your care. Common areas of need for LGBTQ+ families include:

– co-lactation
– induced lactation
– supplemental nursing system (SNS) for partial milk supply
– safe binding practice
– breast/chest/body feeding after top surgery
– considerations for gender euphoria and dysphoria in peripartum
