Angelique Sanchez LMT, TTT, VSTCP
is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Michigan and a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). She is a 2009 Graduate of Irene’s Myomassology Institute and went on to apprentice at Irene’s for two years after graduating, acquiring a deeper knowledge through working with students. She has a certification Trauma Touch Therapy through The Colorado School of Healing Arts, Vibrational Sound Therapy through the Vibrational Sound Association and a certification in Oncology and Hospital Massage through Beaumont Healthcare Systems. In addition she has training with the Upledger Institute in CranioSacral Therapy levels 1 & 2.

All bodywork training aside, the foundation of my work is to create an affirming space and always ALWAYS foster consent and agency for folks inviting me in for care. It is sacred space to me. I don’t take it lightly that folks put themselves in my hands. My goal is always to work with clients, not on them – to be present, tune in and facilitate healing.

Be Present Massage and Bodywork is an ALL inclusive space. In my years of practicing bodywork, I realized that this is not the experience all folks were having when they sought out massage/bodywork. This led me to be very intentional about creating a safe space. ALL bodies are Good bodies and LGTBQIA+ affirming. I am honored and grateful you put yourselves and your loved ones in my hands!
