I was raised in a very strong Christian household and as a young kid was very closed-minded about sexual identity and orientation. I had very positive experiences, in particular with the student president of my dental class, that dramatically changed my mind over the course of 4 years. Since then, I have been actively involved in promoting and supporting initiatives of inclusion regarding the LGBTQ+ community.
