Although Bri is not a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she highly respects those who are and believes that however one chooses to identify is their own personal choice and right. Bri believes that individuals should express themselves to the utmost capacity in order to live happy lives. Living as your true self is key to mental wellness. All individuals that enter the office are treated the same and all views/preferences are accepted with no stigma. Bri also respects and uses appropriate pronouns. Her office is considered a safe space where no judgement is cast. She typically does not diagnose Gender Dysphoria due to her philosophy that it is not a mental health issue to identify as something other than the “norm,” but that does not mean she ignores the distress surrounding situations such as gender reassignments or coming out.
