I am passionate about assisting those who are eager for personal and emotional development. My clients seek lasting solutions for a fulfilling life. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other methods, I guide clients in reshaping thoughts and behaviors impacting mental health, fostering resilience and self-awareness. This journey requires stepping out of comfort zones and embracing change for meaningful transformation. If you’re committed to this path, I’m here to support your journey towards a balanced and satisfying life.
I’ve worked with diverse clients facing issues like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My experience includes supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, where I take pride in offering empathetic, inclusive care.
I identify as a white, asexual, cisgender woman. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education, and my research plans to explore mental health counselors’ experiences in working with the asexual population. I am the president of Alabama Counseling Association’s division of Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive (ALSAIGE). I have completed 5.5 hours of LGBTGEQIAP+ Affirming Counseling Training provided by William and Mary School Psychology and Counselo rEducation (SPACE).
Whatever you are experiencing or any challenges you are facing, my hope is that we will work together to help you cultivate a better quality of life. If you are interested in working together, please contact me and inform me of your availability so I can determine if I have the availability open for you!
