I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), a recent graduate, & I’m here and I’m queer! While my priority is serving marginalized communities, I strive to empower anyone and everyone who chooses to begin their path toward wellness. I’m here for it!
I grew up Queer in the South and the needs of my community are what sparked me to begin my journey to help others. I believe healing is a collaborative effort to develop goals and skills but begins by utilizing strengths already present within a person. It’s essential to find a provider that understands your journey and can walk alongside you. I provide clients with resources and help them connect with organizations and clinics that provide gender-affirming care.
I’m trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and trauma-informed practice. Some other modalities that I incorporate in my work are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Practice, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused treatment.
I aim to provide a safe and compassionate space where you feel empowered on your mental health journey!
