I am a transgender white female who specializes in supporting clients around sex and sexuality, gender identity, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. I provide a safe, affirming environment for individuals and couples who want to process, explore, or grow in these areas.
Before becoming a therapist, I served for over 30 years in the U.S. military, where I developed a reputation for steady leadership, integrity, and the ability to handle high-stakes, sensitive situations. My background also includes presenting nationally on the experiences of transgender service members and leading diverse teams at the state and national levels.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University (CACREP accredited, 3.98 GPA), and I am a National Certified Counselor. I blend my professional training, clinical expertise, and lived experience to create a therapeutic space where nothing is too heavy, too awkward, or too complicated to bring into the room.
