As a transman myself and part of queer community for 3 decades, I am delighted to serve our LGBTQIA+ communities. I am particularly interested in addressing the long-term effects of trauma on health and mental health, and assisting transgender individuals in the process of becoming their authentic selves. I worked in community mental health, child welfare, addiction treatment and managed care for over 20 years prior to entering private practice. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, emphasizing rapid development of practical coping skills. I am a current member of WPATH and Q+ Indiana Council, with extensive experience in staff and community training regarding LGBTQ+ inclusion and clinical best practices.
